The Eastern Conference Finals are set and here at Gametime Blitz we will be hosting $1000 contests for the remainder of the NBA Playoffs. Here is our weekly matchup preview to give you and edge against the competition on the Gametime Blitz app.
This week we will be breaking down the matchup between the Toronto Raptors and the Milwaukee Bucks. Game 1 of the NBA Eastern conference Finals will be played at the Fiserv Forum Arena, home of the Bucks. Milwaukee won 3 of the 4 regular season matchups against the Raptors. Game 1 of this series will set the stage to see who will move on to the 2019 NBA Finals.
The Toronto Raptors won game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Philadelphia 76ers to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. It didn’t come easy though. Kawhi Leonard hit a game winning shot that bounced off the rim 4 times with time expiring in order to win the series against the 76ers. The Raptors will need more than luck to beat the Milwaukee Bucks. The Raptors ranked 3rd in the league in free throw percentage and the Bucks ranked in the middle of the pack so take that into consideration when answering questions about more free throws made or missed. Toronto only scored over 100 points once in the regular season against the Bucks which should be a beneficial stat when answering the tiebreakers. The Raptors have struggled against Milwaukee in the regular season and I see that continuing this post season.
The Milwaukee Bucks have won both of their first two series in the NBA Playoffs this year. They swept the Detroit Pistons and then handled the underachieving Boston Celtics team as well. The Greek Freak is showing why he is in the race for MVP this year. The Bucks out rebounded the Raptors during the regular season 196 to 173 in the four games that they faced each other. Milwaukee also led the league in total team rebounds this year in the regular season. Remember this when answering questions about which team will grab more rebounds. For questions about assists, consider that the Bucks slightly edged out the Raptors, 100 to 93. The Bucks also ranked 7th in the league in assists which is another small advantage. I see the Bucks continuing their regular season dominance against the Raptors in this series.
This will be some amazing basketball to watch and now with the information above you should be able to cash in huge on Gametime Blitz. Make sure to check back every week for a new matchup preview.
